A trip to Michigan would not be complete without a horse show or two! My family has been working hard to get the hitch up and running this summer. At the Fowlerville fair they took 1st place in the Six Horse Hitch. This is a big accomplishment! My brother Brad does the driving in the big hitches, but Fred was home to help out. My Mom has also taken over the reins of the women's cart. I was asked to drive for a family friend who had an injury. Luckily, the horse was 20 years old and was able to show me around the ring. Driving horses is like riding a bike, you never forget how???
Another highlight of the trip was just spending time with all my family. My brother's and their girlfriends are so fun to be around!
