Baby is coming! I've been following along week by week in a pregnancy book. I can't believe I am almost at the end of my book...its even harder to believe I am almost finished with my pregnancy! My belly is really out there! He is moving lots everyday. On my charts the doctor gave two marks for activity, the nurse told me that means he is extra active.
Last weekend, Tiffany, Nicole, and Christy hosted a baby shower for me. I am super emotional as it is (cried the whole way down the aisle on my wedding day!) and the shower really brought it out in me! All my friends did was introduce themselves and I was already crying! Geez! We had a great brunch and played Erin Jeopardy. Emily and Tiffany did a great job of being game show hosts. The theme was trains and "arriving"-so beautiful! The girls gave me lots of advice on babies! Thank you to everyone who came to celebrate with me (even Barb who was 3 hours late! Gotta love that girl!).
My mom was able to come out to the shower and spent a long weekend with me. We did some power shopping, this time not at our usual favorites, but at Babies R Us, Baby Depot, and REI. Our mission was the perfect stroller. I really wanted a 3 wheeled jogger, but we couldn't find the perfect one strong enough for the mountains. I think my mom became a stroller snob! We hit up REI and ended up with "The Bob". Its the cadilliac of strollers. I love it and can't wait for baby to be in it! This was one of my favorite visits with my mom in Colorado. Having her here really made things seem even more real (well, besides the giant belly!).
