The Street Family Christmas Tree Hunt

After 4 years of marriage, Andy has figured it out that I love hunting for my tree and that I love TALL trees. Since we get our Coloroado trees come from the real forest, and not a tree farm, my standards for how thick the tree is have gone down. This year we were able to go on the mine property for our hunt. It was way less picked over than the national forest. We couldn't have planned for a more perfect day. The sun was shining and lots of pretty snow in the woods. Max traveled by sled for the adventure. When Andy pointed at our tree, I honestly though he was teasing me. It was HUGE! He wasn't teasing! We looked at a few more, but came back to the original pick. Max was such a good boy on the trip. He even had a branch grab him in the face and didn't cry. He loves to "ride" on anything. So sledding was really fun, even though the snow was deep in parts. A first of many trips for Maxwell.
