Wrapping up the summer...savoring the last bits of freedom! Seems like yesterday we were getting lost in Italy. The middle of summer was filled with camping, biking, the Farmer's Market, and spending lots of time with my good friends. Other highlights were the Mile High Music Festival in Denver and tubing down the river with friends. The end of summer concluded with a FFF (forced family fun) trip to Iowa. My parents, brothers, and grandparents all met in Iowa for the National Belgian Show at the Mississippi Valley Fair. Lots of laughs over Iowa sweet corn (Colorado produce is NOT the same as the mid-west), sleeveless cut off shirts on farm boys, matching FFF shirts, and politics! Waiting on pictures from Emily to post. School is starting this week. Volleyball tryouts, meetings, planning...let the fun begin!
