Loving Woodland Park! Without leaving the city limits, we were able to be in this beautiful spot! The Relay For Life sponsored a Yule Log hunt. A hand carved log was hidden and everyone had to hunt for it in the woods. The winner won a coveted spot on the float in the light parade that night. We didn't find the log, but enjoyed our hike looking for it. Max loves being outside and loves being in the carrier for hikes. Santa was at the Yule log hunt and we couldn't resist the scenary for the photo. Max has such a serious side, but we were able to get a few smiles for the photo. That night we also attended the WP light parade. We met up with our friends and their families. Think this day is going to be a new tradition!

Too bad we didnt see you. Cora and I were two fo the many Girl Scouts in the parade. Unfortunately our time to listen to the symphony was cut short when she got sick. SO, Greg scooted us out efficiently. LOL
